And this is the present condition of our country:

Think of the great democracy we have.

Still proud to be INDIAN?

Human Rights

A right is the power or privilege to which one is justly entitled or has a just claim. Rights serve as rules of interaction between people, and they place constraints upon the actions of individuals or groups. For example, if one is granted a right to life, this means that others do not have the liberty to murder him. There are several things that by law as citizens of this country we have a right to. In taking up your rights, you must uphold the rights of others. Human Rights are the basic rights of human being because anybody is human first then citizen of any country. Human rights are those basic standards without which people cannot live in dignity. To violate someone’s human rights is to treat that person as though she or he were not a human being. Not only criminals violate human rights but even government violates human rights of individual. Death penalty is a violation of basic human right of “Right to Life”. In UK, through human right act of 1998, death penalty was completely abolished. Government of India is violating human rights to great extent through Armed Forces Special Protection Act (AFSPA). Once an area is declared 'disturbed' under this Act, the armed forces of the union can arrest and detain citizens without warrant, search and destroy properties without warrant and even use force to the extent of killing citizens on mere suspicion. And no legal action can be taken up against the armed forces without the prior sanction of the central government. Since it was first imposed half century ago, AFSPA has legitimised a series of gross human rights violations. Fundamental rights such as the right to life, the right to a fair trial, the right to remedy and reparation, the right against torture and the right against arbitrary detention (as well as a series of economic, social and cultural rights) have been consistently violated in the areas where AFSPA has been used. Ms. Irom Sharmila, a Manipuri poet, has created history as she enters the 10th year of her indefinite hunger strike protesting against this act. Even the people of society violate the human rights. As an example, we can take the recent cases of honour killings in Haryana. The khap panchayats are going beyond the human rights to put their culture and tradition first. The government is unable to take the necessary steps against khap panchayats because government has to think about its vote bank first. It is true that in democracy, government should do what the society wants or majority of people want but it is also necessary at the same time that individual’s right should not be violated. To advocate human rights is to demand that the human dignity of all people be respected. Law is for the welfare of humanity first, then society.

PROSPERITY

Urban areas are rich because Population causes Prosperity

In every sphere of life, it is the quality not quantity that matters in the course of prosperity. Urban areas are more prosperous than rural not because of quantity of population but because of quality and efficiency of population i.e. human resources. Urban people have more opportunities than rural people like easy access to education and many more services. Urban people are bit practical in their approach than rural people which makes them economically rich and prosperous. Rural people are relatively more stick to customs and traditions rather than moving along with changing time than urban people. Our each and every cell gets replenished after some time and our physical appearance also changes with time so why can not the customs and traditions. Darwin has earlier said that in the world of competition, the fittest will survive. This word fittest also talks of quality and efficiency. Natural resources are nothing without efficient human resources. Suppose if we have abundant natural resources in particular area, but if we do not know how to extract them then they will be of no use. China is more developed than India not because of large population but because of the quality and creativity of population. If it is the case that quantity of population causes prosperity, then why the states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are less developed than states of Kerala and Karnataka. Population in urban areas is more educated and developed as compared to rural population which make the urban people rich and prosperous. Hence, it is true that urban areas are rich because population causes prosperity but it is the quality not quantity of population that causes prosperity.

RAHUL GANDHI-IS HE REALLY SOMETHING DIFFERENT?

RAHUL GANDHI IS JUST OVER RATED.HE IS NOTHING DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHER LEADERS OF THE CHAIN.I WILL PROVE HOW HE IS SAME LIKE THE OTHERS?..THE BIGGEST QUALITY OF COMMON INDIAN LEADERS IS THEY SAY SOMETHING AND DO SOME OTHER THING. SAME IS IN CASE OF RAHUL GANDHI. BEFORE ELECTIONS,HE KEEP ON SAYING THAT I WILL TRY TO CHANGE THE SYSTEM OF SON OF POLITICIAN IS POLITICIAN EVEN I AM PART OF IT. BUT WHEN ELECTION CAME,THE TICKETS WERE GIVEN TO SONS/DAUGHTERS OF POLITICIANS BECAUSE TICKET IS GIVEN TO WHOM WHO CAN WIN NOT WHO DESERVES. THERE AIM IS TO WIN THE ELECTION NOT CONTEST THE ELECTION.SO,AT THIS POINT RAHUL GANDHI IS SAME.
TO MOST OF THE LEADERS,THEIR POLITICAL PARTY IS MORE IMPORTANT AS COMPARED TO COUNTRY,SAME IS IN CASE OF THE RAHUL GANDHI,HE IS NOT HAVING ANY DEPARTMENT OR OFFICE IN INDIAN GOVERNMENT. HE IS NOT BECOMING P.M. ALTHOUGH THE P.M. OF COUNTRY IS EAGER TO GIVE HIM HIS OFFICE. WHY IS IT SO?HE SAYS I WANT TO MAKE CONGRESS STRONG IN COUNTRY.I ASK HIM IS CONGRESS MORE IMPORTANT TO HIM OR COUNTRY?LETS WAKE UP MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS,AND ASK HIM THE QUESTION?
SO BEWARE!!THINK HUNDRED TIMES OF A PERSON BEFORE MAKING HIS IMAGE...........
WE"VE GOOD AND EDUCATED LEADERS LIKE JAI RAM RAMESH,KAPIL SIBBAL,SHASHI THAROOR,ARUN JAITLEY,ETC BUT THE SAD THING IS THAT THEIR VOICE IS SURPRESSED BY THE OTHERS???????????
LET THEM SPEAK,,OTHERWISE INDIA WILL SPEAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TREND OF THROWING SHOES

THERE IS A NEW TREND OF THROWING SHOES AT POLITICAL LEADERS. P.A.CHIDAMBARAM,OMAR ABDULLA,NAVEEN JINDAL,BHUPENDRA HOODA ARE SOME OF THE LUCKY PERSONS WHO HAVE ENJOYED THIS PLEASURE. THE PEOPLE IN INDIA ARE SO FED UP WITH THEIR LEADERS THAT THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO EXCEPT THROWING SHOES ON THEM. IF PEOPLE CHOOSES SOME OTHER LEADER NEXT TIME,HE ALSO BECOMES ELIGIBLE FOR SHOE AFTER 2-3 YEARS. POLITICIANS GOVERN THE PEOPLE DICTATORILY ON THE NAME OF DEMOCRACY. THIS IS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM. DICTATORSHIP IS BETTER THEN THIS TYPE OF DEMOCRACY.IN DICTATORSHIP,AT LEAST WE CAN PROTEST AGAINST THE SYSTEM.BUT IN DEMOCRACY,WE ALSO CAN NOT BLAME TO THE SYSTEM. TODAY'S DEMOCRACY IS DEMOCRACY-CUM-MONARCHY-DICTATORSHIP-AUTOCRACY. BECAUSE IT IS MOSTLY THE SONS/DAUGHTERS OF THE LEADERS OF PAST WHO ARE GOVERNING US TODAY.
